The Ultima Building System is manufactured and constructed by Portakabin Limited, which was the first modular buildings provider to offer comprehensive warranties on all its new buildings.

To give you complete confidence in the structural integrity and durability of our buildings, every new building is supplied with a unique 5-year product warranty and 20-year structural warranty, as standard.

5-year product warranty

Our five-year warranty covers the external fabric of the building, which includes the steel structure itself, the floor, walls and roof panels, as well as the external windows and doors. In short, it covers any part of the external fabric that contributes to the building’s function as a structurally sound, insulated unit.

Ultima buildings are constructed to the highest standards and are designed to meet all relevant building regulations. However, if a fault does occur with the building fabric during the warranty period, we will repair or replace any faulty parts at no extra cost – so you will continue to enjoy the high-quality environment you have come to expect.

20-year structural warranty

Our comprehensive 20-year structural warranty assures you that your building will remain structurally sound – giving you complete reassurance in the strength and durability of your Ultima building.

This warranty covers the structural, load-bearing elements of the building. These are the external walls, floors, roofs and columns. In the unlikely event of any structural failure, we will repair or replace the element at fault.
